These past 2 years have been filled with sweat, new jeans, and protein powder.
When people ask how much weight I’ve lost, I usually guess. My scale once read 398 lbs, a number that broke me. Growing up obese, I’d always say, “As long as I don’t hit 300, I can come back.” Then it became 350. Then almost 400. I hated myself, my body, my life. I hid from cameras and from people.
But I still had hope. This time it wasn’t about fitting into a dress. It was about saving my life. I was out of breath getting ready for work, avoiding stores, and ordering groceries just to not be seen.
Fast forward: I’m 223 lbs, my lowest since freshman year of high school(estimated). Down guessing 200 lbs (130 through diet/exercise, 70 with a GLP-1). My bloodwork is clear. My heart is stronger. I have a second chance at life.
If you think you can’t, you can. The fact you’re thinking about it means you’re ready. Put action behind it, you’re stronger than you know
