Turbo, Hennessy, Avanti, Nitro, & Baker

Today we are wishing a very happy birthday to my very special girl.

Some of our friends here are newer, so they may not know our sweet Hennessy. She was our beautiful chocolate lab and Turbo’s partner in crime. We were blessed to have two wonderful years with her, watching her grow from a small but mighty puppy into the most beautiful adult.

Hennessy had the kind of personality that could light up an entire room. She was brave, loving, fearless, and full of life. She loved truck rides with her head out the window, sunbathing on the balcony, splashing at the lake, running through the park, and joining us on every walk. She truly was, and always will be, our special girl.

We lost her far too soon, and even after two years I still find myself in tears when I think of her. But she taught us so much about love, about slowing down and appreciating the little moments with our pets who are truly family. Those lessons stay with us every day. I know she’s been watching over us, our protector from above, and she’ll always be part of our family.

Happy heavenly birthday, sweet Hennessy. We love you forever.
