My mom's 80th birthday celebration! Family, food, and dancing. ๐ŸŽ‰ And yes, she is gorgeous and sparkly and looks half her age. (If you look closely, you'll see the number 80 in her tiara.) ๐Ÿฅฐ . . Swipe to see more pics (yes my sister played Becky Slater on The Wonder Years!) Keep swiping to see my mom rocking out to Mรถtley Crรผe, and the very last pic might be my favorite shot in recent memory! . . Mom, I know the celebration was 2 months late because of my shooting my Christmas movies but I think we can all agree it was a magical weekend! I love you! ๐Ÿ’•๐ŸŒŸ

Iโ€™ve been working on a new top pattern, and the first version was pretty good. But I just couldnโ€™t leave it alone. I started tweaking and tweaking, and somewhere along the way became fixated on every possible adjustment I could make to achieve sleeve perfection. I tried simplifying it, because I think the best design solutions are often the simplest, but that wasnโ€™t better. Then I went in the opposite direction, exploring more traditional and technical pattern cutting methods, before eventually circling back to almost where I started. Six samples to discover that the first version was nearly there all along. But I donโ€™t think the other five were a waste of time. Sometimes you need to try all the options to understand why something worksโ€ฆ and to know when to leave it alone.
All I can say is THANK YOU for changing my life ๐Ÿ’™ I will forever be grateful and so proud that I wore Dodger blue and represented this community every single day. Love you Dodger Family .- Miggy Ro ๐Ÿซก
