Sofrito 🇵🇷 Key Ingredients: • 4 white onions, peeled and chopped • 30 garlic cloves • 2 red bell peppers, chopped • 2 green bell peppers, chopped • 1lb aji dulce peppers, stems and seeds removed • 1 bunch of culantro • 2 bunch cilantro • 1 tsp salt • food processor Basic Preparation Steps: Step 1. Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender, then blend until consistency is smooth or chunky either way will thicken up when refrigerated. Note : Sofrito will last for up to a week in the fridge and about 3 months in the freezer. Can be frozen in an ice tray and put into a ziplock bag or simply any desired technique or container.
