The last years when i take Kay hunting or when we go on longer hikes, i sometimes wondered if it wasn’t too much for him or if he still really enjoyed them. But the last week we went on a beautiful trip in the remote mountains of Nærøysund (Norway) and Kay showed me that this is what he loves most. Even though he’s not always as fast as he used to, and sometimes he takes the safer route (wisdom comes with age they say) he is still the best companion in the forest, the best hunting dog I can wish for, the cuddliest sleeper by my side and also the hungriest cabin-friend. We had a wonderful time, and who knows about next year. ❤️
