Jasna Boudard

“Surface Tension” is my largest scale artwork to date.

Projected onto the historic Seaholm Intake Facility on Lady Bird Lake, this “visual and sonic nature hug” is a fluid tapestry of water surfaces I have filmed around Austin. Paired with the incredible melodic house track “Flying Dreams” from @one_u_music , these shifting vignettes evoke the beauty of the surrounding nature that is the pulse of this vibrant city.

I have so much gratitude to everyone who helped bring this piece to life.

First to @design.austin and @thetrailconservancy for making WaterWork such a magical event, to @emily.eisenhart and @justin.ryan.rankin for creating this community, to @rivianofficial and @pentagramdesign for making this possible, and the @ilios_productions team for projecting my work larger than life!

A huge congrats to the 15 artists who were selected to showcase their work (especially my love Topher Sipes for being the epic finale!)
