🍅🥫Happy All Gold Birthday to me! 🍅🥫
My cake request this year was a pecan nut pie with the pecans in neat rows on the top of the pie🥧 🎂🥮 What a challenge! This year tested Shafeeq’s technical skill and it was not a knock out the park but still tasted great! 🤤
(There was no singing this year.. only stressing 🤣)
He learnt about pie dough shrinkage and that displacement also happens in baking.. and I relearnt how much of a perfectionist he is. 😆 Good times all round!
As always grateful to be year older maybe not wiser 💕 I am excited for my 2026 cake already, Shafeeq is only thinking about remaking this pie to redeem himself 🤭
