If new and used properly, it's okay. But when the clips are built into your boot, when the boot gets broken in, it feels like there's slack. And on top of that user error. Many people can't do a normal binding strap correctly

I had the opposite problem. I got stuck in my step on after my pants went over the back clip. 30 min and multiple liftys later I left with no pants on. Make sure your pants are secured into that clip

If you have a run away it’s your fault. I’ve had step ons for 5 years now and I have not had a single problem

I’ve been riding step ons for 5 years and I’ve only had 1 foot pop out ever and it was user error (my pants got stuck in the mechanism ) other than that I’ve had insane falls and even broken boards and never popping out. I am thinking about going back to traditional bindings for a little more control

Bogus gets mad at everything now. Can't wear my backpack on the chair. Yet it's 100x more dangerous and difficult to put it on and off constantly before and getting off of the chair. Idk who's making these "rules" but they need to chill out. Also yes user error 110%
