Gratitude and Grace create abundance. Sometimes, I find myself thinking “wow this is my life” almost like an out of body experience. So Grateful for the rooms that I am in and the attention that I command wherever I go. While the moments may be spectacular to some - I remember how hard I worked and all the things that I overcame and endured. Along the way, I always prayed and thanked God for the increase. Keep pushing forward through your adversity and traumatic moments - the outcome is God’s increase in your life. Former “#RHOP” star Charrisse Jackson-Jordan and her son, Jackson Jordan, are opening up about his private battle with colon cancer, which began when he was just 27 years old. In fall 2025, Jackson noticed blood in his stool and changes in his bowel habits but initially ignored the warning signs out of fear. “I was just kind of hoping it would go away or hoping I could do something myself to fix it without telling anybody,” he told PEOPLE. However, after experiencing extreme fatigue, significant weight loss and a near-fainting episode, his sister Skylar alerted their mother. Charrisse recalled being shocked by his appearance, saying, “He had lost a lot of weight. He was sort of lethargic and had no color at all. He looked like a ghost.” After a visit to their family physician revealed dangerously low hemoglobin levels, Jackson was hospitalized, where doctors discovered a tumor during a colonoscopy and diagnosed him with colon cancer. _______ By January 2026, doctors confirmed Jackson’s cancer had been caught early and hadn’t spread. He underwent two months of radiation and four months of #chemotherapy while continuing his modeling career. Charrisse admitted watching her son battle the disease was devastating, revealing, “Inside I was completely falling apart.” Meanwhile, Jackson leaned on his faith and #KobeBryant’s “Mamba Mentality” to stay positive. After completing treatment in August, the 28-year-old was declared cancer-free in September. _______ Now preparing for routine checkups every three months, Jackson hopes sharing his experience will encourage others, especially younger adults, to take their health seriously. “On paper, I was doing everything right. I was healthy, working out every day, particular about my diet, and then this happens. So just pay attention to your body,” he said. #Charrisse added, “If our story can give another family hope, encourage someone to recognize a warning sign sooner, or remind a mother that she is stronger than she thinks she is, then sharing something so painful will have a greater purpose.”
Coldplay wanted to make an EDM song, so Chris Martin called Avicii While making Ghost Stories, Chris Martin invited Avicii to help bring the dance music energy Coldplay was looking for to “A Sky Full of Stars.” Martin later recalled watching Avicii build much of the electronic foundation in under an hour, adding the piano, synths and uplifting production that transformed the song. Coldplay then carefully blended Avicii’s electronic version with their own band arrangement, creating one of the defining rock and dance music crossovers of the 2010s. The session also sparked a creative relationship that later led to “Heaven,” released posthumously on Avicii’s TIM in 2019.
