With a very heavy heart, I’m sharing that SF Plants will be closing.
Since losing Dino my partner in life and in dreams, things just haven’t been the same. And with the rising costs of running a small business in San Francisco and lack foot traffic, I’ve had to make theincredibly difficult decision to close our doors (we will continue to service our maintenance accounts.)
This shop has been so much more than abusiness to us. It’s been a dream, a place to connect with people, share the love of plants, and be part of this amazing community. I’m so grateful for every person who has walked through our doors, bought aplant, stopped to chat, or supported us in anyway. Thanks to all the fantastic staff that was part of our family throughout the years. You’ve meant more to Dino and I than you will know.
I won’t pretend this isn’t heartbreaking. There’s a lot of sadness in saying goodbye to something we’ve poured so much of our heart into, especially after everything this past year has brought.
For now, we’re having a closing sale, and I would love for you to come by, shop, and take home a little piece of the shop with you (everything is for sale). If you’ve been thinking about getting a new plant, repot l, decor, or use a gift card, now is the time. Every purchase helps, and every visit means a lot.
Thank you for being part of our story since 2005, for supporting our dream, and for-all the kindness you’ve shown us along the way. I’ll carry those memories with me long after the doors close. - From Dino in heaven and with heavy heart THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
