20 year anniversary of my first book ‘Learning to Breathe’ being published.
A few to be signed today, tired forearms I bet:-)
This book won five literary awards and was translated into German, Italian and French. A big publisher in USA was keen too… but they said I would have to re write the Barnsley dialect sections - bit too much ‘thee, thou n thine’ for the Yanks maybe?!
