This painting is extra special because the background is a fluid acrylic pour done by Zach’s younger sister (she doesn’t have an insta handle but shoutout to Hannah). It felt important for his portrait to have a piece of his family in it 🫶🏼

I took a break from Instagram for almost a year now, and it really freed up a lot of energetic space & time for me. I felt disconnected from the chaos, and more connected to myself, the earth & the cosmos, and the present moment. I was able to focus more on the enjoyment of the creative process, rather than the pressure to create content. I released outdated wishes to become an instafamous artist & leaned into gratitude for my job that allows me to create art without needing to be paid for it. Embracing that not all passions have to be turned into a side hustle to be worth doing.

All of this to say, I’m back on Instagram! Lol but I’m playing by my own rules this time and frankly not giving a duck about numbers and algorithms and viral trends (aka all the things that don’t really matter). I honestly just missed sharing my art with folks ❤️ and I’ve been working on several different projects that I’m excited to show off :)
