Welp. My first and LAST half-marathon didn’t exactly go as planned 😂😂. I am totally fine, everything is all good but I guess I collapsed at the finish line (that’s right I still finished). Next thing I know I wake up in the hospital. I spent two days in the hospital, mostly for precaution. All the tests that the doctors ran showed that nothing was wrong with the plumbing of my heart. Just super dehydrated and exhausted. Crazy experience. I’m beyond grateful for the people who helped me both at the race and the doctors/nurses. All of them were amazing. And my friends and family. Like obviously you know people care about you but GOD DAM I LOVE ALL OF YOU SO MUCH! @ritcheytimmy thanks for being there with me. I couldn’t have trained for this and almost died without you 😂😂. We almost finished together 😉😉😉. @boulderthon if anyone knows who helped me I would love to reach out and say thank you to them. Either way I’m just grateful and lucky to be here.
