We are being battered by storm Amy Outside (actual raindrops instead of perpetual wet fog). Kira set one paw outside and noped all the way back under her blankie. Spock decided to brave it outside for a full 4 minutes before coming back to the kitchen door, a look of complete disgust in his eyes: "mama you forgot to turn off the rain!!". He is a bit special.

Saatnya karya terbaik bersinar! ✨

Mulai dari dinamika Asmara Gen Z, kerumitan Beri Cinta Waktu, drama Biarkan Hati Bicara, manisnya Cinta Seluas Samudra, keteguhan Istiqomah Cinta, hingga intrik Wajah Cinta Yang Lain... Semuanya sukses mengaduk-aduk emosi setiap hari! Kira-kira judul mana yang paling layak dinobatkan jadi Sinetron Paling Ngetop di SCTV Awards 2026?

Florida is the proof that showing up works, and the warning that showing up is not optional. Republicans hold a real lead in the early and mail vote, about a hundred and fifty thousand ballots, built the way Florida always builds it: in-person voting, day after day, while Democrats banked their mail ballots early. That lead is real, and it is also thinner than the leads of 2022 and 2024 at this same point, which is exactly why today matters more, not less. The Election Day surge is the Republican Party’s traditional closing argument in Florida, and it has to arrive, because the other side’s voters are not staying home either.

The man in the picture beside the president is Byron Donalds, running for governor, and he knows what Florida is: the state that stopped apologizing, stopped waiting, and started winning. The lesson of Florida is not that Republicans outnumber Democrats everywhere. It is that the side that shows up wins, and the side that assumes it has already won loses. Florida’s early numbers are encouraging, but no early lead has ever sworn anybody into office. Ballots cast today are the ones that finish the job.

So the message to the rest of the country is the one Florida already learned. There are more voters on our side than the polls admit, but they only count if they vote. Get to your polling place before seven tonight. Bring someone with you. Florida proved the model. Today the whole country gets to copy it, one ballot at a time, until the surge the other side fears becomes the result they cannot deny.

One month since I quit Taekwon-Do.

I thought I’d be itching to train by now. Honestly, I’m still tired.

I stepped away because the environment had stopped feeling safe for me, mentally and physically. I was burnt out, and I needed space to work out what my relationship with Taekwon-Do and the Taekwon-Do community could look like again.

I’ve slept a lot. The stress and ostracism is still there, and I haven’t found the energy or desire to return to my own training yet. After nearly 30 years, that feels strange.

But alongside that, I’ve enjoyed having spare time again. Reading, being creative, exploring ideas and spending time with people without always being the person organising everything.

And I’ve realised how much my WMA community has my back. When you’re used to being the coach and supporting everyone else, receiving that support yourself means a great deal.

I’m still struggling with some of it. I’m also enjoying parts of life I hadn’t made enough room for.

There’s no return date to announce. For now, I’m grateful for that room—and for the people helping me feel more like myself.
