3 months agoIt’s not just the weapon element to it. Privacy is power. For example my IG has pictures of every season and I leave it there. But my IG doesn’t truly reflect me or my life. (I do this on purpose) I let people believe whatever and judge. That’s a reflection of their character. It’s a test really, it weeds out the people not deserving of me. Access to me is limited. Those who me know otherwise. Not everyone needs to know about my family, personal life, job and my businesses etc. I’m not looking for likes and attention, especially from strangers.
5 months agoI just don't think about that when I talked to someone. I want to live in a world where you can trust people you talk to.
7 months agoTotally agree. Too many people are naive and think that oversharing makes them more real and interesting, but they don't realize the harm that oversharing can bring them til later. Not everyone has your best interests at heart and oversharing can attract predators
