Praha.. A city has my heart Since 2003, full of memories The first visit, I was an art student The city of puppets The city of puppet makers It is heartbreaking how we lose the heritage in the hands of capitalism. Less colorful without the puppets but has more tourists now. I remember we used to sit on the streets, talking, drawing..was so clean I remember how we used to spend hours in the puppet shops trying to choose the one between hundreds.. The city of handcraft.. full of nice cafes and restaurants now with good food. Prag This time we add another special memory in our history 23 years, more than 20 visits for me.. and still I am walking around the city holding my heart in my hands.. Prague The city has my heart🤍 🎈
WARNING: SHOCKING IMAGERY. In 2005, the BBC showed an image on screen that has - to my knowledge - never been shown on another programme. It was part of the second series of the world-renowned in-depth science series, “Look Around You”. Here, Olivia Colman, Andy Gough and Peter Serafinowicz introduce this horrific picture. Alas this was to be the last series of #lookaroundyou, its ending perhaps brought about by pushing public opinion with shocking content like this a little too far, too fast. Robert Popper has gone on to create award-winning programmes in other genres, and those seen here on screen, maybe with reputationses tarnished by this very image, were forced to find new careers far away from science & scientific research. Happy Halloween to all nations and counties who celebrate this bi-annual feast day of reflection and murmuration. Thanks, ants. Thants. #halloween #television #science #slimby
Queen of Hearts or Queen of Halloween? ♥️ 20 hours, 10 decks of cards, a miracle this dress made it on the Amtrak from DC to NY in one piece #QueenofHearts #Halloween2026 Could not sit, or pee, or breathe, or more importantly walk subway stairs 20 hours, 10 decks of cards, a miracle this dress made it on the Amtrak from DC to NY in one piece The true queen of Halloween @jetsetjournalists, with a party to rival Heidi Klum’s—who is somehow still taller than me even with my collar on Off with their heads, part 2
I think we can all agree that the best part of Bookstagram isn’t the books. It’s the people we’ve met because of them. 🖤📖 Don’t get me wrong, I love watching our accounts grow, but I love the friendships we’ve built here even more. I’m talking about the people who show up, hype each other up, remember what you’re reading, and genuinely care about what you have to say. The ones who make this little corner of the internet feel like a community. 🥹 So let’s make this comment section a place to find more of those people! 🦇 Introduce yourself, tell us what you’re currently reading, and go show some love to someone new! Or tag someone I need to follow! Let’s bring the SOCIAL back to social media. 🖤😘 Also in efforts to spice up my algorithm, I’m following back those who follow me and dropping some love on your page. 🖤🫶🏻🎃✨
Your thoughts? 💭 [📸via @raffinagita1717] #USSFeed
