“WE FOUGHT THEM OVER THERE SO WE WOULDN’T HAVE TO FIGHT THEM HERE.” Lara Logan joins Steve Bannon on War Room for a powerful conversation about national security, radical Islamist extremism, and what she believes are growing threats to America’s constitutional freedoms. After years reporting from the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan, Lara reflects on the words she heard repeatedly from American servicemen: “I’m here so that we don’t have to fight this at home.” Now, she warns that extremist ideologies and efforts to establish parallel systems of authority deserve far greater scrutiny here in the United States. Lara draws a distinction between Muslims seeking freedom and a better life in America and those she believes are exploiting religious protections to advance extremist political agendas. “What terrifies me is that they are the shield, the unwitting shield, for the people who are using Islam to overthrow the government of the United States of America.” 🇺🇸 JOIN LARA LOGAN LIVE IN NEW YORK!
