What does posing mean to me? . It’s a way of telling people a story without opening your mouth. It’s a way to show people how you’re feeling without speaking a word. It’s a way to express an emotion that you can’t quite put into words. . No matter where you are in your bodybuilding journey, posing is a form of art that allows us to show people a different side to ourselves that we might never be able to speak into existence or know how too. . When you pose, stick some headphones on and forget about the world for 5 minutes. Let yourself flow, and yes it might seem silly in the moment but it’ll help you find out how YOU want to pose. . Shout out to @matthewlin.fit for these shots! . Clothed by the best @officialgasp / @officialbetterbodies - SARA15 for £££ off! . Fulled by the best @esncom @esncom.uk - SBM . Sometimes the hardest part of being an athlete is knowing when to take a step back ❤️‍🩹 Sadly I won’t be competing at this @fiseworld @ucibmxfreestyle World Cup 🇨🇳 I’ve been quiet on social media for a week because the past few days have been a bit of a roller coaster. I’ve been dealing with vertigo which basically makes everything spin in my head like riding a rollercoaster whenever I move my head too much. I’ve talked to several doctors, worked with physios and mental coaches, and tried everything I could to get back on my bike. But in the end we decided it’s better to sit this one out. It sucks, especially after putting in so much work and feeling ready to compete. But I guess being an athlete also means knowing when to listen to your body instead of always pushing through. My priority now is to focus on the (upcoming) World Championships rather than pushing my limits here and risking further health complications or injury. I feel bad because I’ve been riding world cups since 9 years nonstop and I always pushed through boundaries so I feel like I wanted to share this because I know I’m probably not the only athlete struggling with moments like this. Sometimes one step back is what you need to take two steps forward. I’ll be back 🫶🏼❤️‍🩹 📸: @cristobalbatlle @adidas @adidasbike @volumebikes @demolitionparts @abus_cycling @kunstformbmxshop @joshkcoaching
