Always find something good to appreciate in a person. ❤️

You may notice many things about them that you don’t agree with. You may not like their behaviour, their choices, or the way they treat others. But somewhere, there will always be one good quality in them that deserves to be acknowledged. Look for that. Learn to recognise it.

And do this not for them, not to create a perfect image of yourself, and certainly not to make the world see you through rose-tinted glasses. The world will have its own opinions about you, and you cannot control them.

Do it for yourself.

Because every time you consciously choose to see the good in someone, a little part of you begins to transform. Your heart learns to make room for kindness. Your mind learns to move away from unnecessary negativity. And slowly, you become a person who carries more peace within.

This doesn’t mean ignoring someone’s flaws, accepting hurtful behaviour, or allowing people to walk all over you. You can recognise the good in someone and still maintain your boundaries. You can appreciate a quality without agreeing with the person.

The more negativity you allow to occupy your mind, the heavier your own life becomes.

And perhaps, in the most beautiful way, this is where a little selfishness is actually good for the soul. If you want to be happy, if you want to be healthy in your thoughts, and if you want to live with a lighter heart, begin here.

Start by identifying one good thing in every person you meet.

Not everyone needs your approval. Not everyone needs a place in your life. But you can choose not to let their imperfections become the source of your own negativity.

Choose to see the good. Choose to appreciate it. Choose to protect your peace.

UPDATE! Reality TV personality Mackayla Paige, known as “Kash,” was shot and killed in downtown Oakland, and police say her own sister has now been charged in connection with her death.

According to Oakland police, 38-year-old Vernika Dunbar was trying to pistol-whip a woman who was fighting with Kash when the gun accidentally fired, striking and killing her sister. Dunbar has been charged with involuntary manslaughter, assault with a firearm and gun-related offenses.

The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. near 14th and Harrison streets, close to Cave Lounge. Kash, 29, was taken to the hospital but died from her injuries. Police have not publicly explained what started the confrontation.

#Kash was known for appearances on reality shows including “Real West Coast Baddies,” “Room H8z” and “Young & Reckless.”

Reality TV personality Mackayla “Kash” Paige has died at age 29 after a fatal shooting in downtown Oakland, California. Best known for her appearances on the digital network Now That’s TV—including shows like Young & Reckless, RoomH8z, and Real West Coast Baddies—her network and fans confirmed and mourned her passing following the tragic incident.

The Oakland Police Department responded to reports of gunfire shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2026, on the 200 block of 14th Street in downtown Oakland.

Officers arrived at the scene and found Paige, a resident of Richmond, California, suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

Though first responders attempted lifesaving measures at the scene, she was rushed to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Oakland investigators have arrested a woman in connection with the shooting. The suspect is also a resident of Richmond, California. As of Monday morning, authorities have not publicly released the suspect’s name, detail specific charges, or confirmed a clear motive for the violence.

Passenger Princess position seems quite vulnerable ngl.
