@beautyinthemotherland 2024 vs 2025

ÀSC began with a vision to change how people see and care for their scalp, not big team, no capital or resource repository… all we knew? More than half of the population experience or will experience scalp concerns in their lifetime. From dandruff and itchy scalp to alopecia and psoriasis, scalp care affects so many people, yet it remains one of the most underserved areas of hair care.

When we started, most scalp serums in the market were either simple oil blends or products made with toxic ingredients. We knew something had to change. We wanted to create plant-based solutions that are safe, effective, and backed by science. That was how ÀSC was born.

This is still the beginning of our journey, but Beauty in the Motherland 2025 reminded us how far we have come and how much further we can go.

It showed us that even in Nigeria there is space for innovation, clean beauty, and brands like ours that choose purpose over convenience.

Thank you to the visionary @beatrice_eneh words don’t describe well our gratitude! Thank you @beautyinthemotherland including every individual and sponsor who has come together to give beauty startups a platform to be seen and celebrated. From here, it only gets better. 🌿
