9 Strange Japanese Habits That May Seem Silly, But Actually Work... ⚔️🧠

1. Talk to your body as if it can hear you — Your stomach, chest, and throat hold things your mind hasn’t processed yet. Ask them why they feel tight.

2. Give thanks before leaving things behind — The old job, the old love, the old you. Gratitude closes the door instead of leaving it open for years.

3. Write what you want on a bay leaf, then burn it — Fire makes the intention feel real. What feels real can activate your subconscious.

4. Wash your hands after spending time with someone who drains you — Cold water, if possible. Your body takes it as a signal to let go.

5. Leave a glass of water beside your bed and ask your brain a question — Your subconscious keeps working while you sleep. You might wake up with the answer.

6. Talk out loud to your future self — Ask, “What do you need me to do today?” Your brain begins making decisions from that perspective.

7. Apologize to your younger self — For abandoning yourself. For not protecting the version of you that needed it most. Say it out loud.

8. Walk backward for one minute after a difficult moment — Change the way you move, and you change the story. Tell your body you’re safe now.

9. Whisper your own name before making a big decision — Your brain pays closer attention when it hears your name. Ask, “What would you choose?”

Save this. Try one today.

BREAKING 🌊👀 First signs of Kelvin wave activity are showing up during the high tides and high surf of early October! | 📍Newport & Huntington Beach

A slow-moving pulse of warm water is making its way through the Pacific, potentially raising sea levels by an additional 8–12+ inches temporarily. Combined with high tides and elevated surf, coastal areas could see noticeably higher water levels over the coming days. 🌊🌡️

the compliment is cute but the intrusive thoughts are cuter☺️

Animals are not property or ‘things,’ but rather living organisms, subjects of a life, who are worthy of our compassion, respect, friendship, and support.
