Beyond Red Light (2025) Evolving Gaze
A year later, the streets looked the same, only my silence while photographing had grown deeper. Between noise and devotion, I kept finding glances that spoke of both fatigue and faith. Kamathipura remains unchanged and alive, carrying stories that reveal themselves only when you stop asking for them.
This year, my return was not about rediscovering the place but about reinterpreting it. What once appeared as celebration and resilience now unfolded as stillness and repetition, moments that breathe quietly between motion and pause. The people, the walls, the shadows, everything seemed to hold an unspoken rhythm, a patience that reveals itself only to those who linger.
Through this continuation, Beyond Red Light (2025) moves from the external to the internal, from documenting the visible to sensing the invisible. Black and white frames became my language of restraint, translating sound into silence and movement into memory. This series does not seek answers or narratives; it simply observes, allowing Kamathipura to exist in its raw, unguarded truth, just as it always has.
