It’s more than a song, it’s more than being an artist.✨
I never really say too much about myself but this is a special day. I started music in 2018, after playing around in the homies studio. What I realized is that it became therapeutic, I fell in love with expressing myself through writing, singing and performing. I dropped two projects & 2 music videos before going on an hiatus in 2020. I wanted to start a family & did just that. I have two beautiful children and made the choice to be a single mother 3 years ago. That comes with A LOT of sacrifices, that I’ve grown to accept.✨ Music never left my spirit, I just didn’t have the space for it.
After 5 years, I’m just now rediscovering myself. I’ve evolved in so many ways 🙌🏾 Was it easy? Is it easy? No, but I’ve finally found the space again to do something that I love. I now have the true mental space to invest in something that brings me so much joy.🥲
Stay In dropping today has reminded me that I didn’t give up on something I love, I didn’t make excuses from the hardships of life and I’m healing myself by believing in myself.
