European 3D Barebow vice-champion 🥈🥈
The first day of qualifications was honestly a bit rough—problems with my bow and some unlucky targets. But I managed to fix the issues, and on the second day, I shot a 474, which is the highest score ever by a Slovenian barebow archer in a tournament. Achieving that at the European Championships felt really good.
After qualifications, I was ranked just below the middle in 9th place with a total of 900 points.
In the eliminations, I outshot all first three of my opponents, including the top-ranked shooter with whom I went to a shoot-off, and I won with a 10 against his unlucky 8. I shot well in the semifinals, but unfortunately, in the finals, I made some bad shot executions and lost.
On Saturday, we competed in the team event. We were ranked last in 8th place, but with some strong shooting, we managed to beat the 1st ranked Italians and then the Austrians. In the finals, things didn’t go perfectly, so we ended up in 2nd place
So in the end I came home with two silver medals which was more than what I was expecting at the start even though i'd rather have at least one gold
