my star obsession 1

my star.
everywhere i go.
every move i make.
they watch me.
i reach for them.
they reach for me.
we keep spinning.
the stars pull my eyes.
i reach for them.
trying to keep them close.
but they fade.
they slide behind me.
my star.
i can’t stop looking.
everywhere i go.
i see them.
i catch them.
i keep them.
but they keep escaping.
still,
i keep looking anyway.
