thank you Jesus for the gift of retreating with you. “but Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer,” (luke 5:16). thank you for allowing me to walk in obedience to your calling to retreat, to get away from the world we live in and be intentional about spending time with you and you alone, away from all the chaos and demands of life. you are forever holy. you are forever on the throne in the Kingdom and in my heart. i join with all of Heaven in the everlasting song. thank you for the strength you give to me to lay my crowns down at your feet. you are worthy, so worthy Lord. thank you for showing me this weekend that the most precious place i can be is at your feet.

i praise you Lord for the work you did in encouraging surrender. i praise you Lord for the chains that were broken this weekend, for the jericho walls that you tore down in our hearts. you’re incredible Lord. to witness the way you break, restore, and then revive is incredible. you are good and you are sovereign. thank you for the wisdom you were able to pour out through using me as a vessel and thank you for preparing my heart to receive wisdom from brothers and sisters in Christ. thank you for reminding me what an incredibly wonderful and intricate artist you are. thank you for it all Lord. i’m in awe of you and in love with you as your faith-filled and humble servant for all my days Lord. continue to use me and to send me. always give me to a heart to seek your will above my own, and continue to allow my heart to be shaped according to your desires as they were this weekend. thank you for the community that was strengthened and knit together so wonderfully and intricately this weekend. thank you for giving us a space and a place to gather and worship you fully and freely. thank you precious Father for a wonderful last fall retreat. i’ll never forget it. you are mighty and matchless, good and glorious all the time. forever my best friend. i love you Jesus.
