FOUR years married!!! 🪩

Married life has looked different (in more ways than one) than I imagined, but it is truly such a gift.

We’ve walked through so much change over these past four years, but two things have never wavered: our commitment to each other and our commitment to keep Jesus at the center of it all. Because of that, we’ve experienced His faithfulness over and over again.

One of the most dangerous things about social media is how easy it is to only see the highlights. It can make us strive for something unrealistic—and in doing so, it steals our joy. So here’s the truth: we have a real and desperate need for Jesus in the midst of our humanity.

Marriage is not always easy, and it will not make you whole.
It’s sanctifying. It requires grace and forgiveness (for yourself and for each other). It challenges you at your most vulnerable core—but there is beauty in the undoing. It’s an earthly reflection of Christ’s love for His bride, the Church, and there is such security in the divine design of that covenant.

You are strong yet tender—a living example of what it looks like to fully surrender to the Father and be transformed by His love. It’s the greatest privilege of my life to call you my husband. I love the life we’re building together, and I know I’ll love you even more as I continue to know Him deeply.
