We may be a little late (the newborn trenches are real haha!), but we are over the moon to share this with you…

Meet our daughter, Honey Rose Senn 🤍

Her name is as meaningful to us as it is beautiful.

Honey was a name on my heart long before I became a wife or mama — inspired by Proverbs 16:24: “Kind words are like honey — sweet to the soul and healing to the body.” It came from a prayer that my children would always know they came from a place of unconditional love and kindness.

When Ashton and I began dreaming about our future and the family we desired, I shared this name with him. Let’s just say…the unconventional choice was not his favorite at first 😂 But then came a season of deep loss, followed by a season of watching the Lord restore and redeem everything the enemy tried to steal from us.

When we found out we were having a baby girl — the sweetest gift from that season of redemption — we knew Honey was the perfect name for our precious girl. Her name is a declaration over her life: that she will be an expression of life, sweetness, and healing from the Lord.

Rose is equally special — honoring one of the strongest and most loyal women we know: my mom. The Rose of Sharon. Her love and fierce devotion have shaped me (and now Ashton) in ways words can’t fully capture. Our prayer is that our daughter carries the same grace and strength in the Lord as the women who came before her.

So here she is — our best girl. Our answered prayer. Our greatest testimony.

Honey Rose Senn — created in the image of the ultimate Creator and most loving Father. He has written every detail of her life so far, and we are in awe of His goodness and faithfulness.

Our prayer for her is that she hears the voice of the Lord, walks intimately with Him, and fulfills the destiny and calling that He has placed within her.

Her life will be a sweet fragrance before the throne of the Lord.
What a gift she is 🤍 by @itselizabethsenn

Happy Father’s Day to the man who made me a mama and gave our daughter the gift of being loved by such a kind, faithful father.

Watching you step into fatherhood has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Even before Honey was born, I knew you would be an incredible dad. But seeing it with my own eyes—the way you hold her, make her laugh, comfort her when she’s upset, and delight in every little thing she does—has surpassed every expectation.

Honey, you are so blessed to have a father who loves Jesus, loves your mama, and loves you so unconditionally. From the moment we knew we were expecting you, he has prayed over you, provided for you, protected you, and cherished you. There is no doubt in my mind that your life will be stronger, safer, and sweeter because of the father God chose for you.

Ashton, we are so proud of the man of God you are and the man you continue becoming. Your willingness to continually surrender your life to the Lord, pursue His presence, and lead our family with humility and integrity inspires us more than you know. The strength of a godly man is not found in perfection, but in faithfulness—and you have been faithful.

Thank you for every sacrifice that often goes unseen. Thank you for the long days, the hard work, the prayers whispered in solitude, and the countless ways you put our family before yourself. Thank you for choosing us again and again.

My prayer is that Honey grows up knowing what a gift her father is. That she sees in you a reflection of the goodness, protection, and steadfast love of our Heavenly Father. That she remembers your laughter, your wisdom, your gentleness, and the way you always pointed her toward Jesus.

We love you more than words can express. 🤍 by @itselizabethsenn

Heaven is roaring with praises🪽Granny went home to be with Jesus after almost 93 years, and what a legacy she leaves behind.

She was the matriarch of our family and a true woman of God. One of the last things she said was, “If you don’t know the Holy Spirit, you don’t know anything,” and that sums up exactly how she lived - completely led by the Spirit.

She served everyone she met with so much joy, even when she had little for herself, and she had the kind of smile that lit up every room. People were drawn to her because the love of Jesus just radiated from within her. She truly left a lasting impact on every person she met.

It feels like such a gift from the Lord to have her close as I stepped into motherhood. Watching her love on Honey is something I will treasure forever (swipe to see their sweet bond 🥹)

Being able to care for someone who spent her whole life caring for others was a privilege I will never take for granted. I’m so grateful for every moment spent sitting, talking, and soaking in the strength and wisdom she carried with grace.

The decision she made to follow the Lord changed everything. Because of the foundation she laid in faith, our daughter gets to walk in an inheritance that spans generations.

In her final days, I had the honor of sitting with her and reading the Bible out loud - the same Word she faithfully meditated on every morning.

And in the early hours before she passed, Honey’s cries woke us up unexpectedly…almost as if her little spirit somehow knew Granny’s was about to be called home.

Our hearts miss her deeply, but we are filled with peace knowing this isn’t goodbye. Because of the eternal hope she passed down to us, it’s just see you later.

Thank you, Granny, for the faith you lived, the love you poured out, and the legacy you built for all of us. We know you heard those precious words: “well done, good and faithful servant”. We will carry it forward. We love you 🤍 by @itselizabethsenn

It’s wild how love evolves.

From late-night calls
to praying over our future…
to living inside answered prayers.

Marriage.
Parenthood.
Ordinary, holy moments.

Now the prayers we once whispered are learning to say “mama” and “dada” 🥹

Before navigating marriage after a baby,
we were building a foundation.

Choosing each other daily.
Learning to forgive quickly (and still learning).
Growing in faith, growing up together.

And I thank God everyday that we did.

Staying connected after having a baby
didn’t start when she arrived.
It started when we made a commitment to each other.

If you’re in the early season of marriage - don’t rush it.
You’re laying the groundwork your family will stand on.

Life Lately: measuring time in naps.

And somehow she’s bigger every time she wakes up 🥲 by @itselizabethsenn

Some nights postpartum feel louder than others. The thoughts spiral. The emotions swell. The exhaustion settles deep.

If you’re in that season - or you remember it - this is the reminder I wish every first time mama could read at 2am.

You’re not failing.
You’re not broken.
You’re adjusting, healing, becoming.

And one hard moment does NOT define your motherhood.

You were chosen to be your baby’s mama.
You are wrapped in grace.
His arms are big enough to hold you both.

I’m so proud of you, sweet mama 🤍 by @itselizabethsenn

I didn’t plan on cutting my hair…
postpartum decided for me 😅

I kept saying “maybe after the shedding stops”,
but my shower drain had other plans.

@nataliencunningham finally convinced me to do it - and honestly? zero regrets!

@hairbybrookemiller came through like always and gave me a cut that feels lighter in every way.

If you’re 6 months postpartum and on the fence…
consider this your gentle push 🤍

Save this for later or send it to a mom who’s been eyeing the chop.

We’ve been dressing Honey in Colored Organics since the newborn days 🫶🏼

Somehow the clothes keep getting bigger..while the ones she’s outgrowing feel impossibly small.

Motherhood is such a tender mix of holding on and letting go 🥹

FOUR years married!!! 🪩

Married life has looked different (in more ways than one) than I imagined, but it is truly such a gift.

We’ve walked through so much change over these past four years, but two things have never wavered: our commitment to each other and our commitment to keep Jesus at the center of it all. Because of that, we’ve experienced His faithfulness over and over again.

One of the most dangerous things about social media is how easy it is to only see the highlights. It can make us strive for something unrealistic—and in doing so, it steals our joy. So here’s the truth: we have a real and desperate need for Jesus in the midst of our humanity.

Marriage is not always easy, and it will not make you whole.
It’s sanctifying. It requires grace and forgiveness (for yourself and for each other). It challenges you at your most vulnerable core—but there is beauty in the undoing. It’s an earthly reflection of Christ’s love for His bride, the Church, and there is such security in the divine design of that covenant.

Happy Anniversary, @ashtonsenn 🤍
You are strong yet tender—a living example of what it looks like to fully surrender to the Father and be transformed by His love. It’s the greatest privilege of my life to call you my husband. I love the life we’re building together, and I know I’ll love you even more as I continue to know Him deeply. by @itselizabethsenn

7/16/2025 🤍

Our baby girl made her debut early Wednesday morning at 1:15am — after my water broke Sunday night and early labor slowly progressed.

From beginning to end, the Lord’s hand was so clearly over every moment, guiding us through the most peaceful natural birth at the hospital. One of my heart’s deepest desires was to experience a natural delivery — and my Heavenly Father heard and answered our prayers in such a beautiful, abundant way.

7lbs 10oz • 19in long
She is pure perfection.

We’re both healthy, healing, and soaking up this precious time at home. Ashton has been my rock — every contraction, every moment — selflessly serving and loving both of his girls so well. Watching him become a dad has been the sweetest gift 🥹

We’re beyond thankful for the amazing medical team that supported us in bringing our girl into the world (and became our friends along the way).

All glory to God — our hearts are SO full!

We can’t wait to share her name with you soon 🤭 by @itselizabethsenn
