I’m so incredibly thankful I got the opportunity to photograph John Mayer for @melodicmag

This was definitely a proud moment in my own career. I’ve come a long way in the 7 years since I started photography. It feels surreal to think that it’s taken me here, getting to photograph one of my favorite artists.

Thank you to everyone who’s shown their support for me and my work over the years. It doesn’t go unnoticed and truly means a lot to me 🫶🏻

HU Staff: Ariela Anís @ari.anis Mase (Ma$e) and Cam’Ron have reacted to the news of JAY-Z officially headlining the 2027 Super Bowl Halftime Show. The New York rappers-turned-podcasters previously commented on Hov headlining as reported began surfacing and claiming the NFL, Roc Nation, and Apple Music were having a hard time finding a performer. ___________________________________________________ About a month later, around October 20, further speculation surfaced claiming JAY-Z would be headlining. On October 26, it was confirmed that Hov was the official pick for Super Bowl LXI, taking place at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California on February 14, 2027. Before the confirmation, Mase and Cam’ron took to their ‘@itiswhatitis_talk’ podcast and shared their initial thoughts about the league having difficulty naming a headliner. On the September 26 episode, the rappers called cap and predicted that Hov — whose Roc Nation company is partnered with the NFL for entertainment — would be picking himself for the bill. ___________________________________________________ Since their “prediction” episode, Mase and Cam’Ron reacted to their insider news of JAY-Z officially being named headliner for the 2027 Super Bowl Halftime Show. On their October 23 episode, Mase and Cam’Ron continued troll the situation, which they claimed anyone could have predicted. Mase said, “We knew this was going to happen. Out of all of the people on the roster, they couldn’t pick nobody else? The cap is at an all-time high.” He continued to clarify, “I mean, it’s gonna be fire though.” Then, he fell back under a shady tree and asked, “I mean, who else could have done it? Kanye [West]? Drake? Chris Brown? People he don’t like? Hov we on to you, Hov! You need more people, Hov.” Cam’ron laughed with Mase and echoed, “People he don’t like.” Cam’Ron later clarified, “We both said that if we could get away with it, we would do it too. I don’t understand what’s the big deal. But...” ___________________________________________________ Click the link in bio for full story 📸 Getty Images

HU Staff: Ariela Anís @ari.anis N.O.R.E. pulled up on NYC content creator SOBER FACTS, real name Jason Rodriguez, and checked him over their longstanding issues stemming from the influencer’s use of the n-word. The food reviewer is of Dominican descent and is based out of Corona, Queens, nearby Noreaga’s LeFrak City neighborhood. ___________________________________________________ Now, in a video posted to Upper Cut Podcast’s YouTube on June 16, 2026, SOBER FACTS revealed their issues stemmed from his use of the n-word. He said N.O.R.E. — who is of Puerto rican and African American descent — checked the influencer about it and their back-and-forth began. He said N.O.R.E. told him that their issues could be squashed if SOBER FACTS simply stops using the n-word. However, the content creator opted against obliging to the rapper’s wishes. By September 2, 2026, SOBER FACTS — who prides himself on not drinking, smoking, etc. — posted a video outside of N.O.R.E.’s old apartments and continued to slam him for “drinking, smoking, and self-destructing.” ___________________________________________________ On Saturday (October 31), SOBER FACTS was g-checked by N.O.R.E. in person. He uploaded a video of the rapper popping up on him as he filmed outside a restaurant in NYC. In the video, N.O.R.E. aired out his grievances and SOBER FACTS simply listened and watched, stunned. Hours after the N.O.R.E. confrontation, SOBER FACTS uploaded another video, this time, he was amped up and going off on the rapper. ___________________________________________________ Click the link in bio for full story 📸 @soberfacts / @uppercut.podcast
