Brett Smith-Daniels

NEW RELEASE!! I’m proud to announce the release of “Is There A Meaning? (Life On Earth)” featuring the wonderful talents of @danielkonopka who is the drummer behind one of my favourite indie bands @okgo - he’s gone from being the very first person I ever saw on YouTube to becoming a friend and musical collaborator over the last few years and it really means the world to me that he got involved with this project! This was a self produced effort, I recorded it at home with next-to-no budget and it was mixed by my best friend @mikey_tessier who’s been a part of my musical journey since day one. I had it mastered by @dave_collins_mastering who did an awesome job. The song also features the talents of the incredible @geebaan on backup vocals, in addition to a host of friends who came over and added their voices to the over 400 layers of backing vocals in the mix down. I went to excessive lengths to recreate the sound I heard in my head when I was writing this. I’ve been so nervous to release music for several years now. This is the start of an exciting new chapter in my career and I can’t wait to take you all on the journey ahead. Head to the link in bio to listen on @spotify
