Starting over is scary. So is staying somewhere you don’t belong just because you’ve already invested years of your life in it. People will always have opinions about your choices, especially when those choices stop making sense to them. But they’re not the ones who have to wake up inside your life every morning. You’re allowed to change your mind about what happiness looks like. Something can be exactly what you once wished for and still not be what you want anymore. That’s not failure. That’s being honest with yourself. If you’re new here, hi! I’m Julian 👽 I’m a Reiki Master and the creator behind @awakentheinner . I create mystical tools and share my slightly unconventional view of spirituality and this weird experience of being human. This is a space for people who aren’t interested in living on autopilot, and who suspect there might be more to life than the script we were handed. Follow @awakentheinner and join the movement. 🛸✨

A Swiss-themed dinner party with, my old SCHOOL FRIENDS 😂🇨🇭 I’ve known these lads since I was about five, and yesterday they came over with their wives and partners for an evening inspired by my recent trip to Switzerland. We started with crispy potato rösti with Gruyère, nutmeg and herbs, topped with sautéed garlic miso mushrooms. Then out came the raclette machine, which I’ve had for years and really don’t use enough. Melted raclette cheese over boiled potatoes with loads of toppings… honestly, what’s not to love? 🧀 And to finish: chocolate orange brownie with white chocolate ice cream. Nobody was leaving hungry. But the best bit was sitting around the table, laughing and digging up memories with people who knew me long before the doctor bit. All these years later, still the same lads. Just better cheese #doctoramirkhan #doctoramir #swissnight #switzerland
