“You can’t perform at your best without proper sleep...” 😴 Comment “watch” and we’ll personally DM you this episode! Neuroscientist @drsaharyousef explains why sleep is one of the most important foundations for success, affecting everything from your cognitive performance and emotional regulation to how you look and feel. She argues that if you want to do the best work of your life, you need to prioritise your recovery, aiming for at least seven hours of sleep each night. When CEOs come to her looking for ways to improve, she often finds they’re sleeping far below this minimum. She compares it to asking a mechanic to fine-tune your engine when your car is already on fire. There’s little point optimising everything else when the fundamentals are broken. Are you sacrificing the very thing you need to succeed?
It’s just like riding a bike. 🕺🏿 An evening to celebrate! Huge thank you to the cast, coaches and the entire @dancingwiththestars crew. Great being back out there in my (second) element. ✌🏿✌🏿 #SuperBowlNight
My dad, Richard Dale Cummins, passed away on Wednesday. He was a brilliantly creative person who instilled in me my love of all things art, music, horror, and, of course, Rush. I’ll miss our conversations on the newest tech, politics, religion, or whether or not there actually were ancient aliens (I’m still a skeptic sorry bud). He was an incredible father, and an even more important friend in my adult life. Thank you so much for everything dad we love you so so much. Get some rest buddy.
Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio is gearing up for what could become the biggest Initial Public Offering (IPO) in Indian stock market history, with Jio Platforms reportedly targeting a valuation of up to ₹11 lakh crore. The public issue is expected to open for subscription on October 21, marking a major milestone for India’s telecom and digital economy. According to reports, the company plans to raise approximately ₹30,000 crore through the IPO, potentially surpassing all previous public offerings in India. Anchor investors are expected to begin bidding on October 19, followed by public subscription from October 21 to 23. The shares could make their stock market debut on October 28. While earlier estimates placed Jio’s valuation at around ₹11 lakh crore, more recent reports from Reuters indicate that the company is targeting approximately ₹10.3 lakh crore, or $106 billion. The reported share price range stands at ₹1,065 to ₹1,119, although final details remain subject to confirmation. If successful, Jio’s offering would surpass Hyundai Motor India’s ₹27,870 crore IPO in 2024 and the National Stock Exchange’s approximately ₹22,600 crore offering in September 2026, setting a new fundraising record. Jio Platforms, led by Akash Ambani, has grown into one of India’s largest digital ecosystems, offering mobile connectivity, broadband, cloud services, entertainment and emerging AI solutions. Its telecom business served more than 52 crore customers as of March 2026. Interestingly, global technology giants Meta and Google are already major investors in Jio Platforms, holding approximately 9.98% and 7.73% stakes respectively, while Reliance Industries retains majority ownership. Unlike many public offerings where existing investors sell their shares, Jio’s proposed IPO is expected to consist entirely of newly issued shares. A significant portion of the proceeds, up to ₹27,500 crore, is earmarked for reducing debt at Reliance Jio Infocomm.
