Update on my Jubilee cosplay! I wanted to tackle making the wig first - I got a cheap wig off Amazon which was a decent starting starting point for what I needed but still had a long way to go. I tried my first ever glued hairline which was really scary esp because at this point I already spent hours on the wig and didn't wanna fk it up, but I'm really glad I tried it cuz although it didn't come out perfectly I think it looks much better and to me that's a win! The wig I bought was supposed to be black but it actually came in this weird grayish black color, but I ended up loving it bc I could airbrush black shadows and have more dimension that way! I'm still working on her outfit so stay tuned for the full cosplay reveal ☺️

You can’t help but be drawn in and awed by Anselm Kiefer’s exhibition at Ropac Pantin (@thaddaeusropac). You’re struck by the sheer scale of the works and by the vivid, almost unexpected colors for the artist.

Kiefer transforms the gallery into his own painterly nymphaeum: a sanctuary where water, myth, and memory converge. It marks a new chapter in the interweaving of myth and matter that has defined his practice for more than five decades—monumental yet intimate, overwhelming yet precise.

When MGM animators William Hanna and Joseph Barbera created Johann Mouse in 1953, they didn’t just make a cartoon—they crafted a brilliant love letter to the Viennese waltz. Using Johann Strauss II’s sparkling Die Fledermaus Overture, composer Scott Bradley built a lush orchestral landscape where every string swell and brass crescendo dictated the physical choreography.
Winning the Oscar for Best Animated Short Film, this sequence proves that classical masterpieces possess a universal theatricality. It remains an extraordinary collision of high art and brilliant storytelling that continues to enchant audiences of all ages.
