When Tammy and I embarked on The Getaway Resort project, our vision was clear — to create a spatial narrative that speaks to our pride as Africans. Every texture, material, and form was thoughtfully curated to reflect authenticity and identity. Beyond design, this project became a platform to empower local artisans — celebrating indigenous craftsmanship while redefining what contemporary African architecture and interiors can be.
