CHEESY POTATO EGG BITES #PeteAndGerrysPartner — this one’s an easy-to-make breakfast to feed a hungry crowd. @peteandgerrys organic pasture-raised eggs are laid by hens who roam on wide-open organic pastures and have such a wonderful flavor. These eggs are as close to nature as it gets. Plus, to make the most out of National Farmers Day (which is today!), I’m using some local new potatoes that are tender and so buttery.

#breakfast #cooking #potato #eggs

Ingredients (makes 6 servings)

3 tablespoons butter, cut into 6 pieces
12 petite gold potatoes, boiled
1/3 cup sharp cheddar cheese
6 eggs
Salt
Chili oil, for serving

Heat the oven to 425°F (215°C).

Using a 6-muffin tin, grease the tin with butter. Add 2 small potatoes to each muffin cup and, using a small jar, smash the potatoes to form a cup.

Add a tablespoon of cheese to each muffin compartment. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the potatoes are golden brown on top.

Carefully remove the pan from the oven. Reduce the temperature to 325°F (165°C).

Crack an egg in each potato cup. Season with salt. Bake for about 15 to 18 minutes, until the egg whites are opaque, but the egg yolk is still a bit soft.

Serve warm with chili oil on top.

Happy 1 year and 10m views later to my most watched video

Their full body reaction at the end is still everything. 🥾 🚀 added context: Every comment string on the first video where I explained some more context of the interaction has been deleted by the original commenters, so for those interested: the 2 boys, unprovoked, were shouting fatphobic slurs at me for about half an hour and repeatedly, unsolicitedly calling me ugly, then were disrupting every other paying guest around them THEN (when this video starts) they started shouting over these cute little girls whose turn it was to go inside. So with that context in mind, whilst I was working dressed as a creepy, yucky, ugly clown, at a haunted house, YES, imo It was my OBLIGATION when they approached the front of the line to call them ugly as a joke, YES. Their personalities were hideous.

This video is from my time in September 2025 working with Hollywood Horrors as Trixie the clown at the Melbourne Royal Show.

I think social media has completely stopped being a place where we feel "free" and "authentic." If a video doesn't grab attention in its first 5 seconds, it isn't shown to almost 90% of our followers. There's this thing called the algorithm, and when you create content, you have to do what the algorithm wants, not what you or your followers want. I think we've all been affected by this to some degree.

For example, last night I composed a melody with intense emotions. Today I filmed myself playing it so I wouldn't forget it, and my cat Burhan came over and listened. I wanted to share it, then I thought, "There's nothing eye-catching in this video, the algorithm will show it to very few people." So I decided not to post it. But then I thought: if I want to share this, and I'm not going to because it doesn't fit what the algorithm wants, then why is this my page? I think we just shouldn't care about it at all 🙂

I've been very stressed lately, struggling with so many things at once. I don't want to complain. Amid all my troubles, I just wanted to share a video of a few minutes at the piano, together with my dear cat Burhan 🤍
