The story of King Arthur.
People sometimes ask what draws me to the Medieval and Renaissance periods. For me, it’s not just the grandeur of the stories or the lessons hidden within them and the way they were told.
Illuminated manuscripts turned stories into art, depicting books of bravery, devotion, and mystery. As a kid, I loved tales knights and dragons, and this collection is my way of stitching that same imagination into fabric.
When I found the scene from the Arthurian Manuscripts of King Arthur slaying the Saxons, I was immediately captivated by its color and expression.
