La Pieta, a classic scene of passion and mourning. This particular rendition by Enguerrand Quarton (Pietà of Villeneuve-lès-Avignon 1453-1454) plays with color and shape, as this painting focuses on the central triangular composition of Mary and Jesus. Pants by @shop_seraphim

The story of King Arthur.

People sometimes ask what draws me to the Medieval and Renaissance periods. For me, it’s not just the grandeur of the stories or the lessons hidden within them and the way they were told.

Illuminated manuscripts turned stories into art, depicting books of bravery, devotion, and mystery. As a kid, I loved tales knights and dragons, and this collection is my way of stitching that same imagination into fabric.

When I found the scene from the Arthurian Manuscripts of King Arthur slaying the Saxons, I was immediately captivated by its color and expression.

The artist, in his divine wisdom, creates worlds with the touch of a finger. In that act lies something sacred—an echo of God Himself. How easily we underestimate the human power to create, to breathe life into what did not exist before.

Since the loss of the proletariat class—the true makers of the world—modern society has grown dull. Our culture no longer builds; it reproduces. We trade craftsmanship for convenience, depth for templates, and the divine spark for algorithms.

Dürer knew better. In his self-portrait at 28, he doesn’t just depict himself—he canonizes the artist. He claims creation as a form of divinity, reminding us that to create is to commune with something higher.
