pov: you called the c0ps 5 days ago but they’re useless and the c0rpse of your lover is still hanging from the tree 🪩 Klaasje appears so badass and unbothered by everything but her femme fatale personality is carefully constructed camouflage and - to a degree - perhaps part of her survival technique. Disco Elysium explicitly points out to the player how romanticising Klaasje is interfering with their judgment concerning her involvement in the case (and ironically that was what almost made my Harry cuff and take her into cust0dy - which, as I found out later, would have cost her her life). One thing I love about Disco Elysium is how this game messes with your perception - and once you have those intrusive thoughts (which it so readily provides), they will interfere, in some way, with your perception, no matter how much you think you’re immune to it (I was team Klaasje all the way up to the point of that mind bend). There’s way too much I would like to say about Klaasje but reading about her, I found this quote, which I really liked: “Ultimately, Disco Elysium takes an archetype that is traditionally hyper-s3xualised for the male gaze and reframes it to analyze how people use a woman’s s3xuality as an excuse for violence, political theater, or personal distraction.” Anyway, I hope you enjoy this little compilation of bts videos from our cosplay photoshoots. cosplayers: @rerenga_cosplay (Klaasje) | @mate_playingwithcosplay (Harry) (wig/beard & makeup by @blinkscoscave) | @blinkscoscave (Kim) | @helper.workshop (Jean) photographer: @malimoria poem and voice over: @lenakarla assistants: @seismic.cosplay @s7ven_art_ @asgardianfraud photoshoots in various locations around Warsaw and Vienna, including @zax_chmielna5 #discoelysium #discoelysiumcosplay #harrydubois #kimkitsuragi jeanvicquemare klaasje cosplayphotography cosplay
