✨Highlight of my Life ✨

I wish I could bottle up this past weekend and keep it for the gloomy days. I have repeatedly found myself at a loss for words for how special this weekend was. Lisa Elmaleh is a brilliant photographer, artist, and all around wacky human. She created this incredible workshop where a bunch of strangers came together and learned wet plate collodion, but also created an environment where we could all connect with each other. We had the best time getting to know one another.

I have not laughed so hard in a long time. This weekend was rejuvenating, inspiring, and life-changing. I went in excited to relearn wet plate collodion and see what the weekend held, and I left with deep new relationships, and the joy of witnessing brilliant artists at work.

But more than that: shared meals and shared stories, delighting together in the beauty of light and also the worst song in the world and too many inside jokes to count.

I am so thankful. I love each of you and I am sad we can’t all just camp out at Lisa’s for another week. What a gift.
