So often I went to take a photo of the beautiful scenery on the PCT, and found myself drawn back to the visual of the trail itself. The landscape changed, the trail always remained. People came and went, the trail kept going. The material we walked over changed, the line we followed was ever present. Our guide, our familiar companion, our several feet of width taking us from Mexico to Canada.
