The Himalayan Fellowship invites you to a session that will present this Programme with insights on how to apply.

Suitable for creative practitioners across all mediums and forms. There is no age limit.

The Foundation for Indian Contemporary Art (FICA) is a non-profit organisation that aims to broaden the audience for contemporary Indian art, enhance opportunities for artists, and establish a continuous dialogue between the arts and the public through education and active participation in public art projects and funding.

The Foundation for Indian Contemporary Art, in partnership with Royal Enfield, presents The Himalayan Fellowship for Creative Practitioners. Through this fellowship, we aim to champion sustainable and ecologically grounded practices that foster long-term collaboration with local communities and landscapes and practitioners working at the intersection of ecology and cultural knowledge in the Western and Eastern Himalayan regions. This year-long Fellowship supports selected projects through a structured programme comprising development of the projects through funding, mentorship, workshops, programming, and an exhibition platform.

Mary Therese Kurkalang is a Cultural Curator, Producer and Researcher based between Delhi and Shillong, she is the Lead Consultant for this programme since conception. She will be making the presentation.
