A TIME was had!
Thank you to everyone who attended our Neo Soul Affair. Guests enjoyed the artistry of Janae-Marie Smith, the sounds of Love Frequency, a delicious meal, fun and games, and a funky good time out on the dance floor! Shoutout to SNA360Media for capturing the moment and DJ Ness Nice for keeping the vibe going. We are sure we spotted a Maxwell twin and a couple of people representing Angie Stone's iconic look. Our guests understood the assignment!
Congratulations to our Community Excellence award winners: Gregory Owens, Stephanie Stinney, The People's Perception Project (P3), Beta Psi Boule Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, and Black Dimensions in Art, Inc.
We would like to extend a huge THANK YOU for all of those who supported this event. Including our sponsors CSEA and NYSUT, and the generous contributions from area Black-owned businesses. It was truly a pleasure to vibe with you, represent the culture and celebrate — all while raising funds to continue the good work in our community.
THANK YOU
