🚇🌱 Forever a Tube girl! 🥰 Fun fact about me: I can’t drive 🚘 Failed my driving test 3 times, then my theory expired… 😭 But…maybe it was meant to be! 🌍♻️ Lucky to live in London, where public transport is this good 💚🚇 One less car journey and a little way to reduce my carbon footprint!

Believe it or not, what fine hair needs to style it is for it to be a little dirty. Now I’m not saying oily, but it needs a little bit of grit so it doesn’t fall flat. What I use with my clients, number one, this lays down the foundation, is New Wash. When you think about it, if you were to only wash your hair with traditional shampoo, no conditioner, it would be so stripped and dry. But you add conditioner as sort of like a band-aid to replenish all of those oils you just stripped. New Wash, on the other hand, is a cream cleanser and it just sort of melts away the dirt and oils without stripping your hair of that moisture. So your already fragile, fine hair is left nourished which allows it to have more texture and more movement. And when you want to style it, you can just sort of mold it into place and it doesn’t fall flat. Instead it has more interest and body and texture to play with. But if you aren’t ready to part with your current shampoo and conditioner, I get it. I would suggest at the minimum trying the powder by Hairstory. Not only is it a dry shampoo, but it also doubles as sort of this texturizing volumizing powder that you can put all in your roots, so your hair has some grit to work with, and you can style it more easily and effortlessly. Both products are linked in my bio and have completely transformed mine and my client’s fine hair. They are totally worth it if you’re looking for more texture and want to style your hair in 5 minutes. And I just adore my client @emily_ferguson and her love for hair powder 😂 too cute!!
