SAMMY LUCiD

Hey everyone!! 💫

I want to ask a small favor. If you get a minute, it would mean everything if you checked out my first ever comic, Audio Dreamland, dropping tomorrow at 11:11 AM on GlobalComix, free to read. Illustrated by my friend the wonderful @ricardo_oliverart and covers colored by @jaocanola

I never meant to release this. I wrote it as an anniversary gift for my wife, Melia. But it turned into something bigger, our love, our healing, and honestly, my therapy. After we lost our son, Stellar, coming back to this project (and leaning on Melia and our son, Qwest) helped me survive grief, anxiety, and trying to find myself again.

I’ll be real, the writing in Audio Dreamland isn’t as polished as my upcoming full-length graphic novel Dream Line (dropping next year). But that’s exactly the point. I had to let go of perfectionism and fear to even share this. Creating it helped me realize that growth only happens when we stop letting insecurity silence us, and that message is at the heart of every story I’m telling now.

What is Audio Dreamland?
It’s an 8-page comic + full soundtrack. Two artists (me and Melia) get dragged into a dream world ruled by the goddess Hathor, a place built from memory, music, and emotion, and are forced to face Fear, Shame, Doubt, Insecurity, and Ego. It’s about fighting your inner noise and finding your way back to purpose, love, and self.

How to experience it:
• Scan the QR codes on the cover and pages to hear the official Audio Dreamland soundtrack while you read.
• The music was created from my original unreleased We Are Lucid songs and brought to life through Suno under our alter ego, Saint Phoenix.
• If you just want the music, I’ll drop the full SoundCloud link in the post tomorrow at 11:11.

This project is pieces of my life, dance, music, story, love, all in one.

Thank you for rocking with me and I love you all!

🖤 See you in the dream tomorrow at 11:11 AM.
