From the Bronx. To the Boardroom.
This photo means everything to me.
It’s me, my mommy, and my two older brothers — three kids from the Bronx who grew up fighting for every inch of hope.
We were a welfare family!!!
Our mom worked two jobs, sometimes more, just to keep the lights on.
Our dad struggled with alcoholism and abuse.
The nights were loud and violent... Our neighborhood was dangerous.
New York City public schools were broken, and so were a lot of the people around us.
My mom and dad wasn’t even born in this great country. They left everything they knew — their family, their language, their comfort — out of love, chasing the hope of a better life for their kids.
I think about that every day.
And I hope they’re proud, because my intention has always been to take full advantage of the opportunity they fought so hard to give us.
Nothing was handed to us.
No connections. No shortcuts.
Just grit, faith, and the belief that we could turn pain into purpose.
Today, those three kids have grown into men who kept that promise.
We stand together — stronger, wiser, and determined to build something that lasts.
Last week… we made history!!!!
And it hit me: the distance between where we started and where we stand now isn’t measured in miles — it’s measured in miracles.
I’m not sharing this for applause.
I’m sharing it for every kid growing up in a place that tries to tell you what you can’t become.
You can break the cycle.
You can rewrite the story.
And you can build something beautiful out of broken beginnings.
Next week, I’ll finally share what we’ve been working on — something that represents more than a deal.
It’s proof that no matter where you start, ownership — in life, in business, in your destiny — is possible.
