This past month has been an incredible journey — one that ended with me crossing the finish line of the TCS New York City Marathon on 11/2 🏅💙
As part of Team Inspire, 26 runners — each representing one mile — we set out to show how running can help us rise above life’s toughest challenges.
For me, that challenge was myasthenia gravis (MG), a rare autoimmune disease that once left me unable to walk, talk, or breathe on my own. But this experience reminded me how blessed I am — because without MG, I never would’ve been part of this incredible team with such inspiring stories.
To my teammates — thank you for your perseverance and heart. I’ll be cheering you on always. Thank you to NYRR for selecting me and sharing my story. You’ve made this an incredible experience.
And to anyone facing their own uphill battle… no matter how hard life gets, you too can overcome. 💪💙 #TeamInspire #tcsnycmarathon #worldwithoutmg #mg #run #marathon
