👀 Join us for REVERB next Saturday on…
🗓️ December 13 at @heliopolissocialcafe
🪩 for the second edition of our monthly DJ event
❄️ think of it as the not-your-9-to-5-workplace Christmas party for those who love to dance and listen to EDM and house music
We’re looking for two more DJs for the event next week so shoot us a DM and send us a sample mix if you’re interested!
Backstory—Just about two years ago, an amazing local tavern down the street gave us a chance to play some music as our first free public DJ gig here in downtown Calgary. From that first event, a lovely human being liked our sound enough and gave us a chance to play a few more gigs sponsoring what became our first ever paid DJ gig (our second live show). If you’ve been in the scene or are in the arts, you know fortunate these opportunities and connections are for all artists alike. It’s the chances we give, the moments we take, and the community we create that binds us together to truly build something special 👏🏻
We’ve been fortunate enough to start something.. for the music, the community and for the ones who got us here—and the many more faces we look forward to meeting. We’re creating a series of our own and we’re stoked to see what it can grow into.
Occuring on the second weekend of every month, this series not only gives ourselves, but other DJs in the community as well, the chance to grow Calgary’s EDM, dance music, and rave scene. Let’s continue to build this city and scene up 📈
