Some emcees make you want to pick up a microphone. Others make you question whether you deserve to hold one. Before the world knew him as Treach, @treachtribe Anthony Criss was a kid from East Orange, New Jersey, sharpening his craft alongside Vin Rock and DJ Kay Gee. From classroom desk beats and neighborhood talent shows to Queen Latifah opening doors, Naughty by Nature became something nobody could manufacture. And when the world caught on to “O.P.P.” and “Hip Hop Hooray,” something extraordinary happened. Millions were celebrating records whose lyrical complexity many hadn't even begun to comprehend. Go back to “Yoke the Joker,” “Wickedest Man Alive,” or “Everything's Gonna Be Alright.” Listen to the internal rhymes, the breath control, the way syllables collide without ever interrupting the rhythm. Treach wasn't simply ahead of his time. He was forcing time to catch up. His influence was so profound that a young Marshall Mathers once stopped writing for an entire summer because he couldn't imagine ever reaching that level. Imagine being so gifted that you nearly convince another future legend to give up, only to become part of the reason he eventually discovers what's possible.

But the measure of a man isn't simply how many people he inspires. It's what remains of him in the hearts of those who know him beyond the music. Treach's brotherhood with Tupac gave us “Mourn You Til I Join You,” a record that reminds us the fiercest voices can carry the deepest grief. Behind the aggression, the charisma and the seemingly impossible rhyme patterns was a human being who understood loyalty, loss and the responsibility of remembering those who couldn't make the journey with him. Perhaps that's the most beautiful thing about Hip Hop. A young man in Jersey perfects a craft without knowing that somewhere in Detroit, another young man will hear him and have his entire understanding of greatness rearranged. Neither could have imagined how far that influence would travel. And decades later, the student still speaks of the teacher with the same awe he felt before the world knew his name. That's a legacy no chart position can measure. We spend so much time asking w

Hope this makes you fall in love with crabs! 🥹🦀💓

Found on moist rocks around the fresh water waterfall habitats of Amboli, this little pink beauty is Gubernatoriana longipes, the fall base crab, a rare species discovered only in 2016, and endemic to Amboli, which means it’s found nowhere else on Earth but the Northern Western Ghats of India.

This crab lives on lateritic plateaus and forest streams that appear only during the monsoons. And it’s perfectly adapted to the rushing waters and rocky terrain.

But, That COLOUR! Those EYES! How can something so tiny be this stinking cute? 🩷😍

Specially when I saw it scratching its little legs.
Those tiny movements made it even more fascinating to watch!

We often overlook these little creatures, but the more time you spend looking closely at nature, you realise how much beauty exists even in the smallest of beings. There’s so much to fall in love with if only we take a moment to look.

You don’t always need a tiger or a leopard to be mesmerised by wildlife. Sometimes, all it takes is a tiny pink crab on a rock in a waterfall.
