"UNBOTHERED"

This painting shows a woman in a beautiful dress, lying on a comfy couch in a tidied room. Everything appears graceful and intentional, except for one small disruption; an unfinished book slipping from her hand, and a spilled cup of coffee on the floor.

That tiny flaw breaks the almost perfect scene—yet she remains completely unbothered.

From here, there are two interpretations;
Should she clean the mess to restore beauty, even if perfection steals her peace?
Or should she let it be and enjoy her moment, even if indifference, when prolonged, can turn into neglect?

There is no right answer. Both perspectives are valid, depending on who looks and what they’ve lived through.

I created this painting during a time when I was dying in my messy room, but decided to keep doing whatever I could, showing beauty and strength on the surface, even while some things in my life remained unfinished, imperfect, and quietly chaotic.
