I've recently been introduced to the subgenre label #traumantasy and I feel like my writing has been SEEN. Riana and all of my main characters go through some major shit. Throughout each story they grapple with trauma recovery, unburying themselves from burdens like self hatred, fear of their own power, rejection and othering, and moving from survival to standing up straight and embracing all they are.
